Hand-Engraved Copper Handled Utility Knife
This blade is forged from firestorm Damascus and features radiused plunge lines, a convex edge geometry, and a high-polish, high-contrast etch. The handle scales have been internally fullered to reduce weight and are museum fit to the fully etched tang. They are secured by premium epoxy and domed steel pins.
While this knife is functional, the unique solid copper handle gives it a lot of weight in the hand. The reason behind the handle choice was to make a one-of-a-kind collector’s piece and also to practice detailed hammer-chisel engravings. The framed 3D engravings portray branches of a cherry blossom tree in bloom. As a collector piece, this knife comes with the magnetic stand pictured, but a sheath can be made and added to the order upon request.
